I have always loved the small details on the old buildings in the neighborhood. Things we don’t notice unless we stop and look up.

So many times and moments we notice and focus on the negative bits…the parts that make us sad, or annoyed because the city seems to be changing for the worse.

But remembering how difficult things were 123 years ago…puts those moments into perspective a bit more.
