Just when you think everything has changed…take a stroll down Jackson, in Pioneer Square, as the sun is coming over Beacon Hill.
I always imagine this stretch of 1st Ave without the modern vehicles or street signs…At the turn of the last century, things still smelled weird, there were still unsavories; the past just always seems a bit more romantic.It is interesting how we remember “better times” and yet, they always seem to stay the same, save for the changing of the seasons.Through the warm light of a Pioneer Square afternoon.
